Abigail Kernahan Recreational Program Director/ Office Manager
Hi! My name is Abigail, I am the new Director and office manager for our gym! I grew up in a small town Buffalo, NY playing outside practically all day and dreaming of growing up to be as good as Shawn Johnson on the US Olympic Team. I started doing gymnastics when I was about three years old worked my way up to compete as a level 6. I also started to coach the preschool classes and level excel. Coaching kids to reach their new found goals became a life time dream of mine. Sadly my gymnast career ended at the end of high school due to injury but, that never stopped me from giving other kids a chance to change their lives!

Julia Sedon Excel Bronze and Silver Team Coach
My name is Julia Sedon, I began gymnastics at the age of 4 and began competing when I was 7 years old. I continued my competitive gymnastics career until the age of 14, finishing my last 2 seasons as a level 8 while training level 9 skills. Gymnastics has been one of my passions for the majority of my life; teaching young girls and passing down not only the gymnastics knowledge, but skills and morals they can use in life, has also become one of my passions. Coaching at Airborne for the past three years has made a huge impact on my future career choices as well as my long term goals with this sport and becoming certified strength conditioning coach for all kinds of athletes.
Hallie Proctor Recreational Coach
Hi, my name is Hallie Proctor and I am 17 years old. Gymnastics has been a huge part of my life ever since I was 7, which is when I first started taking tumbling classes at a different gym. At the age of 10, I joined the competitive cheerleading team at that gym. After a year of cheerleading, I came to Airborne. Once at Airborne, I was put on the competition team where I stayed for 5 years. Even though I quit to focus on school, I was still in love with the sport. This is why I decided to stay here and coach. I have been a coach for a year now and I am so grateful that gymnastics remains a part of my life. I get to watch young children fall in love with the sport, just as I did when I was their age.
Vanessa Recreational Coach
Hi, my name is Vanessa! I’m one of the elementary coaches here! I started gymnastics a long time ago here at Airborne! It was one of my favorite sports! After I stopped competing I still wanted to be a part of the gym in some way! So what better way than coaching kids! People know me outside of the gym as a fun and outgoing human who can practically make anyone laugh!
